Beth Yohe – Secretary

Meet the IBPA Board

How long have you been involved with IBPA?

Since 2012.

What drew you to the field of bullying prevention?

My main focus was anti-bias education in schools and saw the specific connection between bias and bullying; need to address both in order to create positive, safe learning environments.

What is your goal for IBPA in the future?

To continue to expand its reach and connect important partners, researcher and practitioners to further best practices in the field.

What are you most looking forward to at the national conference in Nashville?

I always learn new things and gain new insights. I love the synergy of the conference and all the people that come together for the same purpose.

Who is your role model and why?

Representative John Lewis; he is a hero of the civil rights movement and he continues to fight injustice and fight for people everyday.

If you were stranded on an island, what 3 things would you want with you?

My three family members: my husband and two daughters.
