IBPA: A 2018 United Against Bullying (UAB) Grant Winner!
IBPA is honored, and immensely grateful, to have been chosen as one of The United Against Bullying! (UAB) Program’s 2018 Grant Winners. IBPA was among 68 other outstanding recipients making incredible impacts on their individual schools and communities. With the $1000 grant, IBPA gets the incredible opportunity to provide 10 San Diego National Conference scholarships to 5 students from the San Diego County School system, and 5 high-schoolers in Ripley, Tennessee. We are beyond grateful that the UAB Grant will allow these young advocates’ voices to be heard in person at our conference.
The United Against Bullying! (UAB) Program is an initiative of the company Safe Fleet, that “owns a portfolio of brands that provide safety solutions for fleet vehicle manufacturers and operators around the world.” The UAB program was created with the goal to “offer school communities tools, resources, and funding to support their best initiatives to stop bullying and empower young people to stand up against abusive behavior.” Each year, they give over $50,000 to organizations taking part in the fight against bullying among children k-12. Thank you, Safe Fleet, for your outstanding role in bettering our communities.
